Life Experience

Life experience may be defined thusly: "the adventures, emotions, lessons and results of living."

Through each of those elements we "experience" a portion of life as a human being. If your main spoken language is English, you're most likely living in a free society where you are probably able to experience life without the confines of strict social prohibition. You are free to experience life in any manner that you desire as long as you do not cause harm to anyone else (in some instances that includes animals and plants).

Obviously, if you are not living in a free society, your life experiences will be much different than your counterparts in free societies. You are not free to seek out that which brings you pleasure in an open and harmless way. You are not able to have that experience and it is not your doing. It is unfortunate because you cannot express your life outward and perform according to your desires. This limits life's experience but it certainly doesn't prevent it.

Those who are living in free, open societies will never have the experience of societal repression, hopefully. Once you have freedom, it is almost impossible to go back to any other form of living but those less fortunate still have a drive for life. It's just that their "life experience" is vastly different.

It is hoped that you appreciate this fact. If you live in a free society, you have a gift of unbridled opportunity. If you choose not to pursue every opportunity for improving your life that you can, you should be ashamed.
